Itinerary Details
Day 1
Arrival DelhiAssistance on arrival at the airport. Our representative will welcome and escort you at the airport with private car and driver. After meet and greet transfer to the hotel. On arrival check-In at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2
DelhiDELHI:-
Having a peak into the history of Delhi would give you an insight to the rich heritage of Indian Culture and tradition. It also lets you know the lives and work style of various rulers who ruled Delhi in yester years. As the history books suggest, Delhi has been built and re-built more than 5 times at different sites in and around Delhi but the correct reference is found in the Mahabharata as the city of Pandavas, also called Indraprastha, some 3000 years ago. The city has a historic importance of its own with every crumbling walls of the city has a story to tell.
After breakfast tour briefing by the tour designer followed by sightseeing tour of historic city. Visits of Old Delhi include Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat followed by rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk.
Afternoon city tour of New Delhi includes Humayun’s tomb, Qutub Minar, Chatarpur temples (subject to time availability) followed by India Gate and drive past the government building viz. (Government buildings visit from outside only) Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament house lining Jan Path. After visit return to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
Delhi-JaipurAfter Breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival at hotel our representative will help you while check in at hotel. Evening visit to Birla Mandir to witness `aarti ceremony’. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4
JaipurAfter Breakfast Morning visit of Amber Fort with Elephant ride. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Enroute to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds.
Afternoon city tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. After sightseeing return to hotel for overnight.
Day 5
Jaipur/ Fatehpur Sikri/ AgraAfter Breakfast drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpursikri
Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpursikri. Located 40 Km from Agra, the deserted city of Fatehpursikri was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, in honor of the great Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti who blessed Akbar and prophesized the birth of three sons to the heirless Emperor. Akbar used Fatehpursikri as his capital and the city was fully occupied for 14 years but slowly became deserted and ruined after Akbar left the city. Scarcity of water was the prime factor for the abandonment of this beautiful city. Visit the remarkably well-preserved, graceful buildings within the 'Ghost City' including the Jama Masjid, tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal Palace and other palaces that speak of the grandeur and splendor of the Mughal empire at the height of its power. After visit continue drive to Agra. On arrival Agra Check into hotel.
Day 6
Agra/ Delhi DepartureEarly Morning, Visit to witness the incomparable Taj Mahal with its speculative view at the time of sunrise. Taj Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world: this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday). After visit return to hotel for Breakfast.
Checkout & visit Agra Fort located on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most important and robustly built strong hold of the Mughal, embellished with number of richly decorated buildings encompassing the imposing Mughal style of art and architecture. It was constructed by the third Mughal emperor Akbar on the remains of an ancient site known as Badal Garh. After visit drive to Delhi & if time permits enroute visiting Sikandra - the mausoleum of great Mughal King Akbar (1556-1605). After visit continue drive to Delhi International airport to connect flight for onwards journey.
