Itinerary Details

Day 1

Arrival Delhi

Assistance upon arrival at Delhi International airport followed by transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival check in the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2

Delhi

DELHI:- Having a peak into the history of Delhi would give you an insight to the rich heritage of Indian Culture and tradition. It also lets you know the lives and work style of various rulers who ruled Delhi in yester years. As the history books suggest, Delhi has been built and re-built more than 5 times at different sites in and around Delhi but the correct reference is found in the Mahabharata as the city of Pandavas, also called Indraprastha, some 3000 years ago. The city has a historic importance of its own with every crumbling walls of the city has a story to tell.

After breakfast tour briefing by the tour designer followed by sightseeing tour of historic city. Visits of Old Delhi include Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat followed by rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk.

Afternoon city tour of New Delhi includes Humayun’s tomb, Qutub Minar, Chatarpur temples (subject to time availability) followed by India Gate and drive past the government building viz. (Government buildings visit from outside only) Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament house lining Jan Path. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

Delhi/ Mandawa

MANDAWA:- The City of Mandawa  was made a thikana in the mid of 18th century by the Bhojraj Ji Kasubsub clan of  Shekhawat  Rajputs. About the origin of this town there have been earlier references to Mandu  Jat as founder of the Mandawa village. Initially this place was known as ‘Mandu ki dhani’, ‘Mandu ka bas’ or ‘Manduwas’ which changed to ‘Manduwa’, ‘Mandwa’ and finally ‘Mandawa’. Mandawa has Huge palatial traditional houses called Havelis belonging to the mercantile communities of Rajasthan are the main attraction in these places, along with their fresco-painted walls and finely carved doors.

After breakfast drive to Mandawa. The initial part of the drive is through the typical Indian villages. on arrival transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon visit Havelis and walk around the colorful villages dotted with its colorful shops selling a wide variety of things. Overnight at the Hotel. 

Day 4

Mandawa/ Fatehpur/ Bikaner

BIKANER: This is 500-years-old town standing still in time. The rules here built beautiful forts that echo of opulence and images of monsoon clouds in this dry land. The wealth of it's architectural heritage lies in it's forts, palaces and temples.  Magnificent creations in red and yellow sandstone are living. Here is a temple where rats are held sacred. Today the city is known for flourishing industries of food, wool and camel breeding, The genesis of Bikaner dates back to 1488AD. When a Rathors prince, Rao Bikaji, Son of Rao Jodhaji of Jodhpur, Chose a barren Wilderness called "Jangladesh" and transformed it to  a charming city called " Bikaner" after the founder's name. Not only do the traditions come alive here in colorful bazaars and Havelis, Bikaner is also famous for the best riding camels in the world.

After Early breakfast  Driver to Bikaner. En route visit Fatehpur.

Fatehpur:- The town Fathpur was once under the rule of the Muslim Nawabs. Fatehpur has some beautiful havelis. The famous Devra and Singhania havelis of the  town are adorned with murals that are of Indo-western style. Another havelis, Goenka has brilliant frescoes paintings, with some of them depicting Lord Krishn after visit continue drive to Bikaner.

On arrival in Bikaner check in to hotel.  In the afternoon visits of Bikaner. Places of visit are   Junagarh Fort, which is unusual, because other major forts of Rajasthan were built on hilltops, but this fort is built on the desert plain, surrounded by a moat. Visit Karni Mata Temple and if time permits visit Camel Breeding form. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5

Bikaner/ Kolayat/ Jaisalmer

JAISALMER:- The city of golden fort is a fantasy in yellow sandstone in the heart of the Thar Desert - Rawla Jaisal, a Bhatti Rajput King, Founded the city in the year 1156 AD. perched a top the Trikuta Hill; it stands tall against miles of gleaming sand. The sunset has a peculiar glow here. As the night descends, the sky goes up in flames, Which fade leaving a few embers, till it becomes black. A breathtaking sight indeed ! Every house, here, is exquisitely carved, having filigreed work all over. There houses date back to 12th - 15th Century. And hence Jaisalmer is called "the Museum city".

After breakfast commence drive to Jaisalmer. Enroute visit Kolayat. 

Kolayat is an historical centre of pilgrimage where the Vedic sage, Kapila is believed to have shed his body under a Peepul tree. Kolayat has a series of marble temples, sandstone pavilions and 52 ghats - bathing places - built around a large artificial lake which never goes dry.

After visit  continue drive westwards to Jaisalmer, in the midst of the Thar desert. The drive passes by dry vegetation, with villages of colorfully dressed people. On arrival checkin at hotel.  
Evening at Leisure .Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 6

Jaisalmer

After breakfast visit the Jaisalmer Castle. Within the Castle visit the Jain Temples and the Palace. Gadisagar lake, Nathmal Haveli and Patwon Haveli (1805) is a group of five, built for five brothers. They have fine murals and carved pillars. Evening drive to Sam dunes enjoy Camel ride near the dunes and at the backdrop of scintillating sun set. Later return to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 7

Jaisalmer/ Osian/ Jodhpur

JODHPUR:The home of Rathors - The awesome princely city of Rajasthan founded in 1459 A.D by Rao Jodha, today Jodhpuris one of the largest city of Rajasthan. Once the capital city of the Marwar state, crowning it is the imposing Mehrangarh fort. The Old city is situated t foothill of a hillock. The city built in a high wall 10 Kms, Long with 8 gates and innumerable bastions. Umaid Bhawan Palace could be defined as Taj Mahal of North India. The city carries rich heritage and culture an flourishing industry of wood, Cattle, camels, salt and agricultural crops.

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur.  En route visit of Osian. 

Osian was an important centre of pilgrimage between the 8th and 9th centuries. History also confirms that Osian was a large and prosperous city during the early medieval period. Brahminical influences were very strong in Osian during that period. Later, Jainism also flourished in the place. This was the chief reason for the construction of many Hindu and Jain temples in the place. places to visit are the Jain temples. After  visit continue drive to Jodhpur. Assistance upon arrival, check into hotel.  Overnight at hotel

Day 8

Jodhpur

After breakfast half day city tour of Jodhpur. You will visit Mehrangarh Fort situated on a 37m-sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh II and Ummaid Bhawan Palace. After visits return to hotel. Evening is free for leisure. overnight at hotel.

Day 9

Jodhpur/ Ranakpur/ Udaipur

UDAIPUR: On the bank of the shimmering lake Pichola, is One of the most romantic cities in India. Nestled among the lush hills of the Aravalis, it has inevitably been dubbed the "venice of the East". It is a Kaleidoscope of fairy-tale Palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carries the flavour of the heroic past, epitomizing valor and chivalry. founded in 1568 A.D by Mahaeana Udai Singh, the cit is a harmonious Indian blend of white washed buildings, marble Palaces, Lakeside gardens, temples and Havelis. According to the legend, Maharana Udai Singh, the founder was hunting one day, when he met a holy man meditating on a hill over looking the lake pichola. Maharana followed the advice of the hermit and founded the city. The marvelous architecture of the Palaces is spelled bounding.

After breakfast drive to Udaipur.  En route visit of Ranakpur .It is famous for Jain Temples at Ranakpur. These temples are dedicated to Adinath and date back to the beginning of 15th century…Made up of 29 halls supported by 200 different pillars, this temple has 20 domes which constitute the complex roofing. After visit drive to Udaipur. Assistance Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 10

Udaipur

After a relaxed breakfast visit the City Palace built on the bank of the Pichola Lake, by Maharana Udai Singh in 1570. The Jagdish Temple  (1651) a fine example of the Nagara style of temple. architecture. Sahelion-ki Bari an ornamental pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of the palace in the 18th century. It has beautiful fountains, trees and flowers.  Late Afternoon enjoy the boat ride on lake Pichola on seat basis. After the boat ride return to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 11

Udaipur/ Jaipur

After Breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival at hotel our representative will help you while check in at hotel. Evening visit to Birla Mandir to witness `aarti ceremony’. Overnight at hotel

Day 12

Jaipur

After Breakfast Morning visit of Amber Fort with Elephant ride. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal - a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. Enroute to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds.

Afternoon city tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city.  After sightseeing return to hotel for overnight

Jaipur/ Delhi

After relaxed Breakfast Drive to Delhi International Airport.
